1. What Ming Shu is
Ming Shu is a digital interpretation tool rooted in BaZi (八字), a traditional Chinese cosmological system. It is offered for personal reflection, cultural exploration, and entertainment. It is not a prediction service and is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
2. Your agreement
By using Ming Shu, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). You agree that any decisions you make based on content generated by this app — career choices, relationship decisions, financial actions, medical choices — are entirely your own responsibility.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Premium subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future charges; already-paid periods remain active through their end date. Refunds are offered at our discretion for billing errors, unintentional duplicate charges, or if the service is materially unavailable.
4. Permitted use
You may use Ming Shu for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may share your own chart and readings freely. Private share links expire automatically after up to 14 days by default. You may not scrape the service, resell readings, or use its output to train machine-learning models without written permission.
5. Accuracy & limitations
BaZi is an interpretive art with legitimate disagreement among practitioners. Our calculations follow classical methods, but interpretive output is generated by our own editorial voice and is necessarily simplified. We do not claim authoritative status over any particular BaZi school.
6. Intellectual property
The app interface, textual readings, and interpretive frameworks are © Ming Shu. The underlying BaZi system is a traditional body of knowledge in the public domain; our specific expression of it is not.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
